The Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center strives to be the area leader to those affected by cancer and blood disorders. Located at Memorial Hospital's Dorbett Street entrance, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center combines top quality medical oncology and radiation oncology services with integrative medicine in a warm, peaceful environment. The team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, social worker, and therapists are truly committed to superior, compassionate, individualized care while embracing both conventional and complementary therapies.
Addressing a Community Need
Because of tremendous support and enthusiasm, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center became a reality in 2007. More than 4,300 people, who believed in the dream of a local cancer center, contributed to the Memorial Hospital Foundation capital campaign. The facility was named "Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center" in recognition of a very generous donation by Clem and Mary (Fuhs) Lange, who, along with their family, are owners of Best Home Furnishings in Ferdinand, Indiana.

We care about the health and well-being of our patients. Treating cancer itself is only half the battle. The Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center offers a wide array of free supportive services designed to help with the emotional and spiritual challenges that cancer creates.

- Art classes and other activities that encourage self-expression

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center's Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center has held national accreditation from the American College of Surgeons-Commission on Cancer (CoC) since 1996. Accreditation from the CoC is a national gold standard in cancer care and is granted only to those facilities that have voluntarily committed to provide the best in cancer diagnosis and treatment and are able to comply with established CoC standards.
