Chad Potteiger, DO is a member of the active medical staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.  Dr. Potteiger is a gastroenterologist, which specializes in the evaluation and treatment of disorders of the digestive tract. Some of the conditions he treats include colon polyps and cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn), gallbladder and biliary tract disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and various other digestive disorders. He also performs procedures including esophagogastroduoenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, ERCP, and other advanced endoscopic techniques.

Dr. Potteiger received his doctor of osteopathic medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. He also completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology and nutrition fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He is a board certified diplomate in internal medicine and gastroenterology and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Physicians.
