The staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center understand how hard it can be to understand Medicare plans, and they want to help. Memorial Hospital is partnering with the State Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), an impartial health insurance counseling program funded by the Administration On Community Living, to present a free program entitled “Understanding Medicare Insurance”. Melanie Wilkinson, Southwest Indiana Supervisor for SHIP, will present unbiased information on Medicare supplement and replacement plans to help seniors and their families make informed choices. A free dinner will be provided.

This presentation will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at two times: 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. and 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. It will be held in the Medical Arts Building Conference Center, located at 721 W. 13thStreet in Jasper. Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 16.
