Screening Location: Sisters of St. Benedict - St Gertrude's

Who is it for? Insured Employees, Non-Insured Employees, Insured Spouses

When/Where? Friday, February 14, from 7:30 a.m. — 9:30 a.m.

What screenings will be included?

• Blood Pressure, Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Cholesterol Ratio, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose, Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Lipid Profile and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. Additional optional blood tests will include a Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test, Complete Blood Count (CBC) test, and Hemoglobin A1C test

Do I need to fast? Yes—12 hours. Take medication as prescribed. (We will schedule individuals with diabetes early if requested.)                         

Drinking water is permitted and highly encouraged.

How long does it take? About 15 minutes. Appointments will be made every 10 minutes

COST:

• Basic Screening: $45 (Free for Insured Employees and Insured Spouses)
• PSA blood test: $22 (optional for men)
• TSH blood test: $14 (optional)
• CBC blood test: $14 (optional)
• A1C blood test: $20 (optional)
• Colon Cancer Kit: $9 (optional)
