What screenings will be included?

Blood Pressure, Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Cholesterol Ratio, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose, Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Lipid Profile and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 55 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. Optional CBC, TSH, and A1C blood tests will also be available.

Do I need to fast?

Yes—12 hours. Take medication as prescribed. (We will schedule individuals with diabetes early if requested. Please consult with your health care provider if you have questions regarding the recommended fast if you are diabetic.)

Drinking water is permitted and highly encouraged.
