Colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Sixty percent of colorectal cancer deaths could be prevented with screening, yet one in three people are not up-to-date with their colorectal screening. Join Dr. Joanne Leibe of Memorial Surgical Associates as she discusses the “Importance of Screening for Colorectal Cancer” on Tuesday, March 29 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Medical Arts Building Conference Center, located at 721 W. 13th Street in Jasper.

Dr. Leibe received her doctor of osteopathic medicine and masters of public health degrees at Touro University in Vallejo, California. She completed a general surgery residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. Dr. Leibe is a member of the American College of Surgeons and is certified in DaVinci robotic surgery.
