What screenings will be included?

  • Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Cholesterol Ratio; Blood Pressure; Blood Glucose; Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Cholesterol and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. In addition, optional CBC and TSH blood tests will be available.

  • Tuesday, June 1, 6:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. – Highway Department
  • Wednesday, June 2, 6:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. – Security Center
  • Thursday, June 3, 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Annex
  • Thursday, June 3, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – 3rd Shift at Memorial Southside Office
  • Friday, June 4, 8:00-10:00 a.m. – Health Department at Memorial Southside Office
  • Friday, June 11, 6:00-8:00 a.m. – Makeup at Memorial Southside Office

Do I need to fast?

  • Yes—12 hours. Take medication as prescribed. (We will schedule individuals with diabetes early if requested.)
  • Drinking water is permitted.

How long does it take?

  • About 20 minutes. Appointments will be made every 15 minutes.
