Physician Assistant Ben Weyer Joins Heartland Cardiology

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center is pleased to announce the addition of Physician Assistant Ben Weyer to the staff at Heartland Cardiology. He joins physicians Adam Dawkins, MD, Geoffrey Day, MD, William Lehmkuhler, MD and Joshua Leonard, and nurse practitioners Emily Leinenbach, AGACNP-BC and Natalie O’Connor, NP-C. Physician Assistants (PAs) are medical professionals who diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal health care provider.

Weyer received his bachelor of science degree in human biology at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and his master of science in physician assistant studies at Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
