Looking for ways to eat healthier that are also budget friendly? Memorial Hospital’s Clinical Registered Dietitian, Kendra Allen, will present “Navigating the Grocery Store With Ease” on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. at the Martin County 4-H Fairgrounds Community Building. This is a free event in partnership with Purdue Extension, and a meal will be provided.

Allen received a Bachelor of Science Degree in dietetics at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She is a registered and licensed dietitian in the state of Indiana and has worked in multiple career settings including long-term and acute care, as well as outpatient education. She currently works in the inpatient, acute care setting at Memorial Hospital and as an outpatient educator in Memorial Hospital’s Diabetes and Nutrition Clinic. Allen is passionate about providing individualized nutritional care to her patients.
