Class offers prenatal preparation and guidance for breast-feeding. This class is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. $15.00 for any mom not delivering at Memorial Hospital. You will receive an e-mail class confirmation regarding payment, it's standard messaging response for all our classes. It is recommended that both mother and the spouse or support person who will assist the mother attend the classes, as support is key to breast-feeding success. Just the Mom's need to register. You do not need to confirm your reservation.

This American Heart Association course provides information on how to manage illness and injuries until professional help arrives on the scene. The class consists of four core modules: General Principles of First Aid, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. Skills taught include adult and infant CPR, AED use, and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. In order to receive a course completion card, participants must pass a written first aid test and a skills evaluation in CPR and AED.

Dr. Kristi Nord, Adrian Lanman, Melissa Knust, Stephanie Allen and Scotty Munning as they share their knowledge during this special morning devoted to women’s health! All women who attend will receive a gift certificate for a free blood screening including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglyceride, and glucose levels at Memorial Hospital Outpatient Labs.

This option teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in an in-facility environment, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. This American Heart Association is designed for healthcare providers who work in a hospital, clinic or other healthcare facility including a skilled nursing and assisted-living facilities. The course provides the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. Pre-registration required; class size is limited. *Disclaimer, due to AHA updates, the Refresher class is no longer offered.
