West Crawford Elementary

What screenings will be included?

Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Cholesterol Ratio; Blood Pressure; Blood Glucose; Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Cholesterol and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer detection take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older.

Monday, September 20th- 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. - Crawford High School

Monday, September 27th - 6:30 a.m. - 8:30. a.m. - East Crawford Elementary

Tuesday, September 28th - 6:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. - West Crawford Elementary 

Do I need to fast?

Yes—12 hours. Take medication as prescribed. (We will schedule individuals with diabetes early if requested.)

Drinking water is permitted during Fasting!!

How long does it take?

About 20 minutes. Appointments will be made every 15 minutes.
