    What screenings will be included?

    -Blood Pressure, Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Cholesterol Ratio, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose, Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Lipid Profile and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. The health screening will also have additional optional test which include CBC, TSH, and A1C.

    A refresher course to review the proper techniques for Medic First Aid - Basic. You MUST bring your CPR Card to class.

Medic First Aid Bloodborne Pathogens class can be added to this course to provide participants with the knowledge to reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of bloodborne pathogens.
