This class is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. $15.00 for any mom not delivering at Memorial Hospital. One-session class that is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. You will receive an e-mail class confirmation regarding payment, it's standard messaging response for all our classes. It is recommended that both mother and the spouse or support person who will assist the mother attend the classes as support is key to breast-feeding success.

This American Heart Association course is designed for lay persons who serve as rescuers on the job and for the general public who have direct access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Skills taught include CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking. In order to receive a course completion card, participants must successfully complete a skills evaluation.

These monthly community health screenings enable participants to track their cholesterol, triglycerides, and glucose (blood sugar) levels via finger stick. The cost is $25 and may be paid at the screening. The screening lasts approximately 15 minutes, and pre-registration is required. A 12-hour fast is required prior to appointment time. There are 2 types of lymphedema, primary and secondary. Primary is inherited and occurs when there are fewer lymph nodes or abnormal functioning nodes. Secondary can occur from trauma, surgery, radiation, cancer, and infection which lead to damage to existing lymph vessels or nodes. In secondary lymphedema, swelling may develop within days or may take years to become apparent
