Class offers prenatal preparation and guidance for breast-feeding. You will receive an e-mail class confirmation regarding payment, it's standard messaging response for all our classes. It is recommended that both mother and the spouse or support person who will assist the mother attend the classes as support is key to breast-feeding success.

This breast-feeding support group is hosted for moms and their newborns. Subject areas include weight checks, mom-to-mom support, and mom and baby transitions at home such as pumping and returning to work and adding solids.

These monthly community health screenings enable participants to track their cholesterol, triglycerides, and glucose (blood sugar) levels via finger stick. The cost is $25 and may be paid at the screening. The screening lasts approximately 15 minutes, and pre-registration is required. A 12-hour fast is required prior to appointment time. Cash or check is accepted.

The FertilityCare program refers to a natural method to avoid or achieve pregnancy. The Creighton Model coordinates with a couple’s fertility cycle without the use of drugs or contraceptives. The program teaches the couple to identify the woman’s fertile and infertile days in order to achieve or avoid a pregnancy. This program is available through Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. Instructors have been trained through the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction. The program content follows the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. Couples attend an introductory session, and may then schedule up to eight individual follow-up appointments with their instructor to explain details of the program, review the couple’s chart and answer questions. Regular appointments assist the couple in feeling confident to use the method. The FertilityCare program is safe, morally acceptable, easy to learn, inexpensive and can precisely identify the true days of fertility and infertility. The method is shared by both the man and woman as they grow together and plan their family.

This American Heart Association course provides information on how to manage illness and injuries until professional help arrives on the scene. The class consists of four core modules: General Principles of First Aid, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. Skills taught include adult and infant CPR, AED use, and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. In order to receive a course completion card, participants must pass a written first aid test and a skills evaluation in CPR and AED.
