Memorial Counseling Center offers help for improving and maintaining self-esteem. This group will study the nature of self-esteem, learn how to handle mistakes, find ways to ask for what you want, and explore goal setting and planning. Pre-registration and assessment is required.

This American Heart Association course is designed for licensed and certified health care professionals such as physicians, dentists, nurses, paramedics and EMTs, and includes CPR for all ages, 2-man CPR, bag-valve mask ventilitation, relief of responsive and unresponsive foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO), and the use of AED. Participants must successfully complete a written test and skills evaluation to receive a course completion (credential) card. You MUST bring your CPR Card to class.

"Creating Hope" is an Indiana-based, non-profit organization that uses creative expression as a coping mechanism for patients with cancer. These sessions are designed for cancer patients, families, and caregivers. Art materials and an instruction book are available at each session; no previous art experience is needed.

Class offers prenatal preparation and guidance for breast-feeding. This class is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. $15.00 for any mom not delievering at Memorial Hospital. One-session class that is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. You will receive an e-mail class confirmation regarding payment, it's standard messaging response for all our classes. It is recommended that both mother and the Spouse or support person who will assist the mother attend the classes as support is key to breast-feeding success.

This program provides information and cosmetic advice to women battling cancer. Training includes hands-on instruction on makeup, skin care, and suggestions for using wigs, turbans, and scarves. Tips for nail care while undergoing cancer treatment are also included. Facilitated by trained, licensed cosmetologists who are American Cancer Society volunteers.
