“Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of acute medical services in a 133-bed facility located on Ninth Street in Jasper. As a regional health center with nearly 90 active staff physicians and 1,400 employees, Memorial Hospital serves Dubois and surrounding counties in southern Indiana. Established in 1951 and under the sponsorship of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, the hospital annually provides care for 7,000 inpatients and 230,000 outpatients. The hospital received national recognition recently including the 2012 HealthGrades® Patient Safety Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience awards; 2004 and 2008 Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals® Award; the 2007 Select Practice National Quality Award; 2007 “Five-Star Hospital” designation; the 2009 Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence®, and the 2006-2010 HomeCare Elite award.”
